Medical Provider Network

GMMI makes available a network of preferred providers, including physicians, clinics, hospitals and others. The network provides excellent geographic coverage in all of the 50 states, including all medical sub-specialties. By contracting below or at the regional usual and customary (UCR) levels, access to GMMI's network guarantees our clients substantial discounts from the providers’ normal charges.

Within the preferred provider framework, each provider has contractually accepted the rates agreed upon as payment in full from GMMI's clients and to abide by GMMI's or a client’s utilization review, quality assurance, and other cost containment policies and procedures. GMMI is committed to expanding and enhancing the networks available to its clients and will use reasonable efforts to expand its provider network to meet the particular needs of each client.

Provider Selection Criteria
A top priority for GMMI is Quality. Our clients access a network that meets the highest national quality standards. It is the only PPO in the US to hold four endorsements of quality from two independent and nationally recognized quality assurance organizations: the National Committee for Quality Assurance(NCQA) and Utilization Review and Accreditation Commission(URAC).

The leading provider quality assurance criteria are used in the selection process. For example the selected physicians are credentialed as to licensing, certification, malpractice history, admitting privileges and limitations on practice.

Tertiary and Specialized Elective Care Services
Global Medical Management’s Tertiary and Specialized Care Services represent a commitment to give patients the option of having specialized procedures scheduled in the United States at a discounted case rate.

Whether it is an insured that needs a transplant or heart surgery or a person who prefers to have long-term therapy, such as chemotherapy, administered at a U.S. facility, GMMI can make the arrangements. And if the health care provider is not a part of our network, we will attempt to pre-negotiate the charges on our client's behalf.
