Martin B. Smith, Jr., Founder
Martin Smith is a graduate of Xavier University with an MBA in Marketing and Finance. Mr. Smith served in the United States Air Force including service in Southeast Asia, Europe and Japan. His position
prior to leaving the Air Force was Director of Operations for the Tactical Aeromedical Evacuation System.
Mr. Smith has served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Industrial Health Services, the largest provider of primary care in Southwestern Ohio. He has owned and operated a medical device
manufacturing company, and has served as a management consultant to dozens of the nation's top health care organizations. Mr. Smith was Chief Executive Officer of United Health Care Systems, one of the
world's largest hospital alliances.
As one of the leaders in the development of managed care organizations, Mr. Smith has lectured and taught health care management and finance subjects for the Medical Group Management Association, the Health
Care Financial Management Association, Xavier University, and others.

Dr. Wayne Lee, Medical Director
Dr. Wayne Lee has served as GMMI’s Medical Director since 1994. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and experienced in trauma management, planning, and management of EMS rescue systems. Dr.
Lee has served in the United States Air Force, as Captain and Flight Surgeon. He also serves as Medical Director for Emergency Medical Systems for the Fire Rescue Departments of Coral Springs, Oakland,
Margate, Sunrise, Plantation and City of Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Lee is currently Chief of Emergency Medicine at North Broward Hospital District and Vice-President of Medical Affairs for PhyAmerica South
Florida.

Raija Hoppula Itzchaki, COO
Raija Hoppula Itzchaki is GMMI's Chief Operating Officer. Originally from Finland, Raija started working at GMMI in October 1996 as an International Account Manager. During 1999 Raija was promoted to
Director of Marketing, in 2003 to Assistant Vice President of Marketing and in October 2005 to GMMI's COO.
Raija’s commitment and integrity have played a key role in GMMI's growth. Raija is well versed in all of GMMI's operations, both internal and external, and has a strong sense for customer
service. "As a service organization, GMMI will focus on providing continuous improvements to our clients in all aspects of our cooperation. Our commitment is to deliver best possible savings while
providing our clients personalized services with leading technological improvements".
Raija holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Business Communications from Finland. Besides being fully bilingual in English and Finnish, Raija also speaks German and Swedish. To
further her studies within the insurance industry, she has completed the Managed Health Care Professional certification from AHIP (America’s Health Insurance Plans).

Zaydee Capo, AVP Healthcare Services
Zaydee Capo is Global's Assistant Vice President of Healthcare Services and has been with the company since its inception in 1992. Zaydee is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
from the University of Miami.
She has had over 15 years experience as an RN case manager in domestic, worker's compensation and international disciplines. In addition, she has expanded her theoretical studies by successfully
becoming a CCM (Certified Case Manager) and a CLNC (Certified Legal Nurse Consultant).
Originally from Cuba, Zaydee is fluent in Spanish.

Melody Sharet, Director of Finance/HR Administration
Melody Sharet earned her Bachelor's of Business Administration Degree from Baruch College, New York in 1982. As a resident of Florida since 1987 she has worked in both public and private accounting
with a strong background in the medical field. Prior to joining Global, Melody worked with the accounting department of a prominent South Florida Hospital.
Since 1995 she has been part of the Global Medical Management team as the Director of Financial Services. In 2004 Melody expanded her responsibilities, by taking on the position of Director of Human
Resource Administration, tying the Finance and Human Resource departments together.

Monica Rummelhoff, AVP Client Accounts
Monica Rummelhoff is GMMI's Assistant Vice President of Client Accounts. Monica started her career with Global in April 1999 as an account assistant and was promoted first to Account Manager in April 2000,
then to Customer Service Manager in the fall of 2001 and to AVP Client Accounts in November of 2005.
She went to Business school in her native Norway and speaks Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English and Spanish and has 10 years of experience in International Travel and knowledge of several cultures from living in
Scandinavia, Spain & Africa.

Dave Tepper, IT Manager
As a native Florida resident, Dave has been working as an IT professional in the South Florida area for over 15 years. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Florida International
University, Miami in 1990. He started his professional career as a programmer for a home infusion / dialysis company and later started his own company that developed scheduling/billing solutions for the home nursing
market and most recent, was the IT Manager for the area's largest computer reseller.

Brian Piper,Director of New Business Development
Brian S. Piper joined Global Medical Management, Inc. in 2006 to facilitate GMMI’s global reach after moving back to the USA from Europe. Brian’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Valparaiso University and an MBA from Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University.
Brian has over two decades of managerial and executive level experience in sales, marketing and consulting, including 15 years living and working in Europe. Brian is leading our new business development efforts at GMMI. GMMI is privileged to benefit from his knowledge and experience, as well as his professional contact network worldwide.
